This course will teach you how to build apps with low-code techniques to simplify, automate, and transform business tasks and processes using the Microsoft Power Platform. This course may include a one-day applied workshop in preview. In this workshop, you'll practice your App Builder skills by creating a comprehensive solution to solve a problem for a fictional company. The solution will include a Microsoft Dataverse database, a Power Apps canvas app, and Power Automate flows.

Audience Profile

App Maker builds solutions to simplify, automate, and transform tasks and processes for them and their team when they have deep experience in the business domain of the solution. They have basic skills in data modeling, user experience design, requirements analysis, and process analysis. Module 3: Create a canvas app in Power Apps

This module introduces Power Apps canvas apps, which help you create and customize an app, and then manage and distribute it. This module will also focus on how to provide the best app navigation and create the best user interface using themes, icons, images, customization, different form factors, and controls.

Module 4: Automating a business process using Power Automate

This module introduces you to Power Automate, teaches you how to create workflows and how to manage them.

Module 5: Creating and using analytics reports with Power BI

Learn more about what Power BI is, including its building blocks and how they work together.

Module 6: Introduction to AI Builder and Power Virtual Agents

This module helps you create an AI model from scratch and shows you how you can use it in your business without writing a single line of code. This module also helps you create a chatbot with Power Virtual Agents for Teams.
