Nanfor has marked a milestone at the ANCYPEL Congress held on March 30 and 31, 2024, with a keynote presentation by the Vice President of ANCYPEL and CEO of Nanfor, Javier Lozano , on innovation in Artificial Intelligence .

Closing of the 2024 Training and eLearning Congress: Focus on the Transformation and Future of Vocational Training

At the closing ceremony, Víctor Javier Marín Navarro , Minister of Education, Vocational Training and Employment of the Region of Murcia, highlighted the regional government's efforts to integrate resources and synergies to create a comprehensive training system that covers everything from initial training to ongoing training throughout life. In 2023, the region invested more than 37 million euros in training, benefiting more than 21,000 students in nearly 2,100 courses.

Pilar Varela Díaz , Director General of Planning, Innovation and Management of Vocational Training at the Ministry of Education , highlighted the four major transformations of the sector: digital, sustainable, equal and social cohesion. Varela also announced the incorporation of a new professional family in the Vocational Training system and highlighted the importance of public-private collaboration in the development of curricular content.

Marisa López Aragón , Director General of the Regional Employment and Training Service of Murcia, presented a detailed analysis of the figures for training for employment in the region, revealing that the level of labour insertion is higher in men (43%) compared to women (35.6%). In addition, she highlighted the need for constant adaptation to the new specialties demanded by the market and the urgency of reducing youth unemployment through tailored training paths.

Ferrán Ferrer Perea , CEO of Emagister , focused on the growth of master's degrees in 2024 and the importance of building a solid online reputation to attract more students. Ferrer also warned about the constant increase in the price of the click on platforms such as Google and Meta, and reported on an upcoming 3% fee increase for management costs starting in July.

The conference also addressed cybersecurity challenges for online education, with Alejandro San Nicolás Medina , director of TuConsultor , emphasizing the need to protect the integrity, confidentiality and availability of educational data through certifications such as ISO27001 and the National Security Scheme.

The event concluded by reaffirming the importance of vocational training and eLearning in the current context of socio-economic transformations, highlighting the collaboration between the public and private sectors and the need to continue adapting to market demands to ensure a promising working future for all citizens.
