Azure Migration - Workload Migration - Cloud Modernization - Microsoft Azure - Migration Tools - Azure Course - Cloud Migration - Cloud Infrastructure - Digital Transformation
Introduction
The Azure Migrate course offers a comprehensive and practical overview of the workload migration process from on-premises environments (VMware, Hyper-V, physical servers, or databases) to the Microsoft Azure cloud. Through structured and guided training, students will learn to discover, assess, plan, and execute migrations using services such as Azure Migrate, Azure Database Migration Service, and Azure Site Recovery.
This training provides the necessary knowledge to understand the advantages of moving workloads to the cloud, assess the readiness of the local environment, design migration strategies, and execute real-world projects transitioning to Azure using modern methodologies and official tools.
Addressed to
- IT professionals, system administrators, or architects who need to run migration projects to Azure.
- Infrastructure teams looking to modernize on-premises environments and adopt hybrid or full cloud models.
- Consultants, support technicians and technology managers responsible for assessing the readiness of environments and leading migrations.
- People with basic computer skills who want to get started with cloud migration using official Microsoft tools.
An advanced technical profile is not required, but an interest in cloud technologies and digital transformation processes is necessary.
Training objectives
At the end of the course, students will be able to:
- Evaluate the readiness of the environment for a migration to Azure using the official tools.
- Design and implement on-premises environment analysis and assessments using Azure Migrate and associated tools.
- Identify critical dependencies and resources to plan an orderly transition.
- Use services such as Azure Migrate, Azure Database Migration Service, and Azure Site Recovery to perform migrations of servers, databases, or applications.
- Design proofs of concept (PoC) to validate the feasibility of real migrations.
- Perform complete migrations, including replication, testing, and production deployment in Azure.
- Present migration proposals, estimate costs, and leverage Azure planning and optimization tools.
