The Torrelodones City Council and the Nebrija University will promote training aimed at entrepreneurs and managers of SMEs in the municipality. Through a framework collaboration agreement, both institutions have agreed to establish a joint commission that will determine the specific joint collaboration actions that are most appropriate, and will establish the content, calendar and procedure of the training program.
The proposal is part of the Pact for Generation D, a project financed by the European Union and integrated into the Next Generation EU Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan in which Nanfor and Nebrija University collaborate: Digital Generation Program for SMEs
The training program for SME managers will have an equivalence of 15 ECTS (European Credit Transfer System), and at the end of it the participants will design the digital transformation plan for their SME . In the process, they will acquire the knowledge to make the right decision at the right time, to optimize their business intelligence, to increase influence in their company's ecosystem thanks to digitalization processes, to improve productivity with automation models and to optimize the creation, assignment and achievement of KPIs (key performance indicators) in the organization. The training also seeks to eliminate repetitive tasks and errors with production processes integrated with Cloud Automate cloud automation and RPA robotic automation processes.
All participants, during the program, must take the 4-hour Digital Generation open access online course (MOOC). This MOOC lays the foundations for the conceptual framework of the program and ends with a knowledge leveling questionnaire.
At the signing of the agreement, made between the Mayor Almudena Negro and the Councilor for Economy and Employment Luis Müller were present at the Torrelodones City Council and the Nebrija University . On behalf of the Nebrija University, the rector José Muñiz and Luis Díaz Marcos , vice-rector of Academic Organization and Teaching Staff, among other academic authorities, attended.
