Course Description: Microsoft Viva Engage Fundamentals

Training program for Microsoft Viva Engage user level. A guide to help you connect, engage and activate your employees.

This course is taught online and consists of 7 units . The duration of the course is 30 hours , which is distributed between content and collaboration tools. Upon completion, the student will receive an accrediting diploma.

The training is carried out through our Virtual Campus, with this modality you will have all the didactic content on the course platform and it will be accessible, from the start day of the course, 24 hours a day, every day of the week. The student will also have participation forums , as well as continuous tutoring .

Microsoft Viva Engage is a new app for Teams that helps you create and maintain a culture of engagement in your organization. With Viva Engage , you can:

  • Connect people in the company to strengthen professional relationships and social capital.
  • Create communities that support business initiatives, shared interests and diversity.
  • Stimulate engagement between leaders and employees to amplify your organization's vision and shape its culture.
  • Exchange knowledge, answer questions and generate ideas.

This training program will help you learn how to use Viva Engage to achieve these goals and create a more engaged and productive workforce.

  • Post and interact with content in communities, such as ads, polls, questions, and ideas.
  • Follow and participate in live events and Q&A sessions with leaders and experts.
  • Share your opinion and information with the organization through surveys and surveys.
  • Find and connect with people who have relevant skills, knowledge and experience.
  • Contribute your own experience and expertise to help others and the organization.

Course contents

This training program consists of four units, each covering a different aspect of Viva Engage. The units are:

Unit 1: Getting started with Viva Engage

  • In this unit, you will learn how to install and access the application, and how to navigate the interface and features.

Unit 2: Create and join communities.

  • In this unit, you will learn how to create and join communities that match your interests, topics, roles, and experiences, and how to manage your community settings and notifications.

Unit 3: Publish and interact with content.

  • In this unit, you will learn how to post and interact with different types of content in communities, such as ads, polls, questions and ideas, and how to use hashtags, mentions and reactions.

Unit 4: Follow and participate in live events and question and answer sessions.

  • In this unit, you will learn how to follow and participate in live events and Q&A sessions with leaders and experts, and how to use the events calendar and event feed.

Unit 5: Share opinion and information.

  • In this unit, you will learn how to share your opinion and information with the organization through surveys and polls, and how to view and analyze the results.

Unit 6: Finding and connecting with people.

  • In this unit, you will learn how to find and connect with people who have relevant skills, knowledge and experience, and how to use the person card and people feed.

Unit 7: Contribute your experience and expertise.

  • In this unit, you will learn how to bring your own experience and expertise to help others and the organization, and how to use the recognition and classification functions.

Each unit will include a video tutorial, a written guide, and a quiz to test your knowledge and skills. You can complete the units at your own pace and in any order you prefer.

Requirements

To participate in this training program, you will need:

  • A Microsoft 365 account with a Teams license.
  • A device that can run Teams, such as a laptop, tablet, or smartphone.
  • An internet connection.
  • A desire to learn and interact with others.
