    Final Project. Integrative Project

Unit 13: Designing and configuring a business network

    • Microsoft Azure Networking: You can use services like Azure Virtual Network to create and configure enterprise networks in the cloud. This practice will help you design virtual networks, configure subnets, and manage routing within an enterprise environment.
    • Azure ExpressRoute: To establish private connections between on-premises infrastructure and Azure, which is useful for a hybrid enterprise network.

Unit 14. Implementing security and routing policies

    • Azure Network Security Groups (NSGs): Implement security policies that control incoming and outgoing traffic on virtual networks.
    • Azure Firewall: A practice would be to configure Azure Firewall for traffic inspection and enforcement of secure routing policies on the network.
    • Azure DDoS Protection: Protect your enterprise network against distributed denial of service attacks.

Unit 15. Integration of SDN and virtualization technologies

    • Azure SDN (Software Defined Networking): Uses Azure SDN to centrally manage the network control layer. This allows network elements to be configured and managed dynamically.
    • Azure Virtual WAN: Explore how multiple offices can be connected in a global network through a virtualized WAN.
    • Hyper-V Virtual Switch: Within a virtual infrastructure, Hyper-V allows you to create virtual switches and manage traffic between virtual machines in an advanced way.

Unit 16. Project presentation and documentation

    • Microsoft Visio: You can use Visio to design network diagrams, document security configurations and policies, and show how technologies are deployed.
    • Microsoft PowerPoint: Ideal for preparing the visual presentation of the project, illustrating the design, implementation and results of the final project.

    Prerequisites

To get the most out of this course, it is recommended that participants have basic computer and networking knowledge. Previous experience configuring networks and familiarity with concepts such as IP, subnets, and routing protocols will be beneficial, although not strictly required. The course is designed to be accessible to both beginners and those with intermediate networking experience.
