Nanfor strengthens its alliance with Linux Professional Institute and becomes a Platinum Channel Partner

Madrid, March 2026

Nanfor continues to strengthen its commitment to open-source technology training and professional certifications, announcing a new strategic agreement with Linux Professional Institute (LPI) that elevates its position within the organization's international partner ecosystem.

After years of collaboration as an official LPI Training Partner, Nanfor is now taking another step forward and becoming a Platinum Partner, also incorporating the Channel Partner category, a distinction that significantly expands its reach and capabilities within the LPI partner program.

Linux Professional Institute (LPI)

From Training Partner to Platinum Channel Partner

Until now, Nanfor was part of the Training Partner program, aimed at organizations that provide structured and specialized training aligned with LPI's certification objectives. In this role, Nanfor has been offering official training in Linux and open-source technologies, preparing professionals and organizations to successfully pass LPI certification exams through official content, certified trainers, and consolidated methodologies.

With the new agreement signed, Nanfor acquires the category of Platinum Channel Partner, intended for organizations that distribute, resell, and promote LPI certifications, exams, and learning materials, with the aim of expanding access to professional development in Linux and open-source software.

This new category positions Nanfor as a key player in the expansion of the LPI ecosystem, not only as a training provider but also as a facilitator and promoter of new collaboration agreements.

Supporting educational institutions toward the Academic Partner program

One of the most relevant aspects of this new status is that it enables Nanfor to support educational institutions—training centers, universities, and academic bodies—in their process to become an LPI Academic Partner.

The LPI Academic Partner program is aimed at educational institutions that integrate Linux and open-source learning materials and official certifications into their curricula, allowing students to acquire technical skills aligned with the real needs of the job market.

Thanks to its previous experience as a Training Partner and its new role as a Channel Partner, Nanfor can collaborate with these entities by offering:

  • Advice on the procedures and requirements of the Academic Partner program
  • Support in implementing the LPI training model
  • Access to technical team and certified trainers
  • Supply of official study materials and preparation for certifications

All of this is aimed at facilitating the adoption of Linux and open-source training programs, in a structured, official manner, and aligned with LPI's international standards.

Another step in Nanfor's commitment to open source

This new agreement strengthens Nanfor's trajectory as an official training provider in key technologies, consolidating its role as a strategic partner for professionals, organizations, and educational entities seeking to incorporate Linux LPI certifications into their training paths.

The inclusion of Nanfor in the official LPI partner directory as a Platinum Channel Partner reflects recognition of its experience, technical capacity, and commitment to disseminating knowledge in free software and open technologies.
