Introduction

This course introduces the Azure Stack portfolio and describes the basic architecture, core capabilities, and common use cases of its products. You will also learn about the differences and similarities between Azure Stack HCI , Azure Stack Hub , Azure Stack Edge , and Azure .

Goals

Upon completion of this learning path, you will be equipped to understand and utilize Azure Stack HCI within a modern IT infrastructure, differentiating its associated products and maximizing Azure hybrid capabilities.

Course content

1. Introduction to Azure Stack

This module provides an overview of the Azure Stack product portfolio, including Azure Stack HCI , Azure Stack Hub , and Azure Stack Edge . In addition to understanding how these technologies extend Azure to on-premises environments, you will learn how to identify use cases based on business needs.

Contents:

  1. Azure Stack Portfolio Overview.
  2. Key differences between Azure Stack HCI , Azure Stack Hub , Azure Stack Edge .
  3. Use cases for each of the Azure Stack solutions.
  4. Common deployment scenarios and best practices.
  5. Technical comparison: Azure Stack Edge vs Azure Stack Hub .
  6. Technical Comparison: Azure Stack HCI vs Azure .
  7. Strategies for selecting the right solution for different environments.

Practice :

  • Lab 1 : Perform a technical comparison between Azure Stack HCI and Azure Stack Hub , identifying appropriate use cases for each technology in different business scenarios. Set up a small table with the key benefits and limitations of each solution.

2. Introduction to Azure Stack HCI core technologies

This module focuses on a deep understanding of the foundational technologies that make up Azure Stack HCI , including its internal architecture, software-defined storage and networking, and advanced hyperconverged infrastructure management capabilities.

Contents:
