Scrum Master Certified (SMC ™ ) Course

Professionals accredited as Scrum Master Certified (SMC™) have practical knowledge of Scrum that allows them to implement it and work within a Scrum environment. The goal of this certification is to confirm that candidates have successfully understood how to apply Scrum in projects and how to adapt Scrum to a specific situation.

SMC™ certified professionals are facilitators who ensure the Scrum Team has a conducive environment for successful project completion. The Scrum Master is a facilitator who ensures the Scrum Team has an environment conducive to successful project completion. The Scrum Master guides, facilitates, and teaches Scrum practices to everyone involved in the project; removes impediments the team may have; and ensures that Scrum processes are being followed.

Candidates who successfully pass the certification exam will receive the Scrum Master Certified (SMC™) certification from SCRUMstudy.

The course includes the opportunity to obtain the Scrum Master Certified (SMC™) Certification Exam. The sessions are both theoretical and practical.

The course is taught in e-learning modality and face-to-face and telepresence training activities can also be carried out on demand .

This certification is suitable for anyone interested in working as a Scrum Master or for those already serving as one within an organization. The Scrum Master is an important role on any Scrum Team and doesn't require technical expertise to be effective. Furthermore, while Scrum is popular in the IT industry, it can be effectively implemented across various sectors. The SMC™ course is based on the SBOK™ Guide, which can be used as an effective guide for implementing Scrum.

Prerequisites

There are no formal prerequisites for this certification. However, it is preferable to have the Scrum Developer Certified (SDC™) certification before applying for the Scrum Master certification.

Attending a two-day face-to-face SMC™ course training offered by an Authorized Training Partner (ATP) of SCRUMstudy is also highly recommended.
