Official Linux LPI Course: LPIC-3 Mixed Environments - Exam Preparation 300 plus free exam
The LPIC-3 certification is the culmination of the Linux Professional Institute (LPI) multi-level professional certification program. LPIC-3 is designed for the enterprise-level Linux professional and represents the highest level of professional, distribution-neutral Linux certification within the industry.
Three separate LPIC-3 specialty certifications are available. Passing any of the three exams will grant LPIC-3 certification for that specialty.
Goals
This course covers the syllabus for the preparation of the 300 exam , necessary for the LPIC-3 Mixed Environments certification.
To receive LPIC-3 Enterprise Mixed Environment certification, you must be LPIC-2 certified and pass exam 300.
The LPIC-3 Enterprise Mixed Environments certification covers enterprise-wide Linux system administration in a mixed environment.

Topic 301: Samba Basics
301.1 Samba Concepts and Architecture
Candidates should understand the essential concepts of Samba, including the various Samba server processes and networking protocols used by Samba when acting in various roles. Samba version 4.8 or higher is covered.
